A bit shorter on average than traditional deer body hair, with notably thinner fibers and more finely tapered tips too, Wapsi's Short/Fine Deer Hair (a.k.a. 'Comparadun' or 'Coastal' or 'Southwestern Deer') is perfect not only for stacking and spinning comparadun-style or tented hairwings on trout dry flies, but great too for packing and trimming dense heads or bodies on micro-sized muddler minnows, skittering caddis, and much more.
