OVERVIEW: New Hampshire, like most eastern states, offers many opportunities for wild brook trout fishing. The most likely streams to hold these native gems are often too small to warrant or receive much fishing pressure. Some of these streams can literally be small enough for an angler to straddle! The nice thing about small brook trout streams is that there is probably one flowing quietly near your home. This free, fun, and informative presentation will explore what to look for, when to go and what equipment works when targeting small stream brook trout.
GOAL: At the end of this FREE presentation, attendees will leave with a better understanding of where, how, when, and with what to successfully target wild brook trout on the fly on our smaller local NH streams.
