Introducing the new Centric series, a cutting edge family of fly rods that deliver new levels of stability, recovery speed, and range while ensuring anglers tons of feedback through their easy flexing tip sections and highly transmissive blanks.
The most efficient rods Scott has ever created. Flat, stable, high line speed loops are easily generated at any distance with minimal effort from the caster using the Centric. For anglers of any skill level, these rods feel very light in the hand, are insanely accurate, and are simply a joy to fish at any distance. Ease of roll casts and mends is next level too. The ability to control loop shape and line speed at any distance give anglers wide ranging versatility.
Centric rods combine new tapers and multi-modulus lay ups with a new resin system to increase fiber density and reduce weight, and they feature Scott's new generation ARC reinforcement for greater stability along multiple axes. New custom rolling equipment allows Scott to control fiber placement and density with new levels of precision. And to top it all off, Scott designed new standard-setting componentry for the Centric rods that redefines functionality, durability, and beauty.
Scott Centric rods are fit with Flor grade cork, new titanium stripping guides with super slick zirconia inserts, new low glare Snakebrand Universal snake guides, and a new fully milled reel seat featuring speed threads, easy grip knurling, self-indexing hoods, micarta inserts, a special Delrin lock washer, and type 3 flat black hard coat.

Carbon Link - Centric rods combine new precision construction techniques with Scott's innovative new resin system to bond carbon fibers in a very dense matrix. The result? Foundations - A great casting rod also needs a firm foundation for a reel. Centric features a new, fully-milled reel seat combining speed threads, easy grip knurling, and self-indexing hoods, so it's just as easy to take off a reel as it is to put one on. A special Delrin lock washer (that cool red thing) insures rock solid seating to eliminate reel vibration and increase the transmission of what you feel, cast after cast, strike after strike.
Available in models ranging from 8.5 to 10.0 feet long in line weights 4 to 7, all Centric rods are 4 pieces and come in an embroidered cloth bag with premium aluminum rod tube included. Centric rods are handcrafted in the USA from the finest materials.
